Founded in 1985, Credit Unions for Kids is an organization made up of 33 Credit Unions in the San Antonio and surrounding area. The purpose of this organization called Credit Unions for Kids is to help raise funds for the Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital (part of the CMN – Children’s Miracle Network). At SwRCFCU, we have been a part of the Credit Unions for Kids since the beginning. Our Credit Union raises funds all year by holding bake sales, candy sales, participating in annual events such as the “Bowl-a-thon” held in February, the “Credit Unions for the Kids Ride” motorcycle ride held in April, the “Play Around for the Kids” golf event held in August, as well as other activities. |
